Terms of Service

By using the BütçeCep app, you agree to the following terms and conditions. This agreement is solely between you and the BütçeCep developer; app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) are not parties to this agreement.

1. About the App and Developer

BütçeCep is a mobile application developed for personal and family budget management. As the developer, we are solely responsible for the content, maintenance, and support of the application. App stores (Apple, Google) bear no responsibility in this regard.

2. License of Use

You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use BütçeCep for personal and non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. You may not transfer, rent, or sublicense this license. For iOS devices, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions apply; family members may also use the app via Family Sharing.

3. Account and Data Security

BütçeCep uses end-to-end encryption (E2EE) to protect your financial data. You are entirely responsible for the security of your password and recovery keys. If this information is lost, no one can access your encrypted data; BütçeCep cannot be held liable for any data loss that may occur in this case.

4. Subscription and Payments

A paid subscription is required to access Pro Plan features. Payments are processed via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store infrastructure depending on your platform, and are subject to the respective store's payment policies. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. For refund requests, iOS users must contact Apple, and Android users must contact Google.

5. Protection of Personal Data

Your personal data is processed within the framework of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) No. 6698, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union, and other applicable data protection legislation. Your data is used to provide the service; it is not shared with or sold to third parties. We recommend reviewing our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Rules of Use

You may not use the app for illegal purposes. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or modify the app's source code. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or breach the system's security. Behavior contrary to these rules may result in the suspension or deletion of your account.

7. Warranty and Liability

The app is provided 'as is'. While industry standards for data security are applied, there is no absolute guarantee that service interruptions or data loss will not occur. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, iOS users may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price; all other claims must be directed to us. Product liability, consumer rights, or legal compliance claims related to the app must be directed to the BütçeCep developer, not the store.

8. Intellectual Property

All design, logos, text, and code within the app are the intellectual property of BütçeCep. Unauthorized copying or distribution is prohibited. The BütçeCep developer is solely responsible for addressing any third-party intellectual property infringement claims; app stores have no obligation in this regard.

9. Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Firebase (notifications), Google and Apple authentication infrastructure, and Google Gemini AI services. It is the user's responsibility to comply with the terms of use of these services. When using the voice command feature, ensure you do not violate your wireless data service provider's policies.

10. Legal Compliance and Jurisdiction

This agreement is subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey. For users residing in the EU, rights under the GDPR are reserved. You are obliged to comply with the applicable laws of the country where you use the app. You may not use the app from a country subject to international sanctions or if you are on any government's list of prohibited parties.

11. Store Platforms

This agreement covers versions distributed via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The platform rules of these stores also apply. For the version downloaded from the Apple App Store, Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and have the right to enforce it against you. For the version downloaded from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service additionally apply.

12. Disclaimer

BütçeCep is a tool developed solely for personal budget management. The charts, analyses, and data within the app strictly do not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice. BütçeCep cannot be held responsible for financial decisions made based on this data.

13. Changes and Updates

We may update these terms with or without prior notice. Notifications for significant changes may be sent within the app. Continuing to use the app after the update date means you accept the new terms.

14. Account Termination

We may suspend or delete your account without prior notice if you violate the terms. You can use the Settings → Delete Account option to delete your account yourself. Account deletion does not affect your rights under KVKK and GDPR.

15. Dispute Resolution

In disputes arising from this agreement, a solution will first be sought via info@butcecep.app. If the parties cannot agree, the courts of the Republic of Turkey shall have jurisdiction. Users residing in the EU reserve the right to apply to local consumer protection authorities.
